Sharpening Instructions
To not void your lifetime warranty, you must call us at 916-681-6945 for instructions on returning your shears for service.
We will direct you to a certified Sharpeningtech sharpener in your area In the USA, Mexico, Central America ALL service and sharpening on Our Sharpeningtech Scissor and Shears MUST be performed at a Sharpeningtech Shears authorized facility.
The reason that you cannot use a non-certified Sharpeningtech sharpener, is because most sharpeners do not PERFORM the quality WORK that is required to keep your Sharpeningtech Scissors or Shears in optimum condition.

Please do the following:
- Put your name, address, phone number, and email address, with a short note about the problem you are experiencing in an insured box/bubble envelope with your SCSISSOR so that we know where to ship them back to and can call you for additional information.
- Insure your scissor for their full value, so that if they are lost or damaged during shipping, you will be able to file a claim with the Postal Service.
- SharpeningTech offers lifetime free sharpening, which means that as long as we are resurfacing the blades, we only charge you $20.00 for shipping and handling. If the shears have any nicks or chips in the blades, the charge is $30.00 because of the increased time involved in restoring the blades. We will call you with the charges and for payment information.
- Return your Sharpeningtech Scissor in the original box/envelope. If you do not have that box, then secure the shears by wrapping a rubber band or tape over the tips to keep the shear fully closed while in-transit.
- Carefully wrap your Scissor in bubble-wrap or tissue paper and put them into a padded, protective mailing envelope.
